Deloitte South Africa presents the Executive Insight application for the iPhone. Executive Insight provides topical and insightful business-related articles to decision-makers in the private and public sector. The articles are written by Deloitte subject matter and industry specialists and includes point of views, results of industry research and future predictions across a range of subjects and industries. Note: Most of the content provided on Executive Insight is relevant globally, however some articles relate specifically to South African statutory and legislative requirements
Categories
After completing your subscription form, you will be granted access to the Executive Insight application. You can browse content from 6 business categories (i.e. Executive Leadership, Finance, Talent, Information Technology, Managing Risk and Taxation and 6 Industry categories, namely Mining & Energy, Financial Services, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Health Care, Industry and Consumer Goods and Public Sector).
Customise
Users can customise the tab bar of their application to display the top 4 categories they are most interested in, and can activate notifications that will alert them of new articles in their preferred categories. To customise the tab bar, users simply navigate to the "More" icon on the bottom right of the screen, and then to "Edit," where they can tap and drag favourite categories into the tab bar. Alerts for each category are also chosen through the "More" icon, by tapping on the "Alerts" category at the bottom of this page, and then swiping the switch to "On" for each category in which theyd like to be alerted to new posts.
Read and Share
The Executive Insights application provides a short overview of all articles in chronological order. By selecting the short overview, you will be presented with more information. If you scroll down there is an option to view the full article in PDF format. In addition, users are provided with various options to share the post or PDF document by email and other popular social networks such as Twitter and Facebook.
